  1. I don't see jake being traded even if he was healthy. Lets hope he stays for a team friendly contract with a non movement clause for only the 1st 4 years. I like Gruden over white to be honest but thats not a huge deal at this point. Doc is playing above what most people said he would ever be which was a good 4th liner. I still don't think he can carry a line but if malkin and smith are playing to their potential (which they haven't been) then he is a good compliment to that line.

  2. Silver lining here is that we’ll see how Sid looks without Jake. I bet he keeps up his scoring pace. Then maybe Sully will put Jake somewhere else in the line-up, maybe Malkin’s line, like you said.

Since LTIR lasts 10gm/24 days it’ll give us a good look at what things look like without Guentzel.

Thanks for the content and coverage, Nick and Horwat!

  3. Dude how many people have to say hes not getting traded until you quit talking about it like he already has been?

  4. Enpugh with the Jake trade spec. It wont happen. Thats not hope, its a fact. Trading Sids best option on the first line when Cater is gone next year is just silly. Stop it, ise your heads.

  5. Guentzel, Rust & Letang seem to get hurt a lot. Do they have anyone under 30 that can step up? I call the Penguins the Senior Citizens of the NHL.
