The Pittsburgh Penguins have traded centre Nick Bjugstad with salary retained to the Minnesota Wild in exchange for a conditional 7th round pick depending on how many games Bjugstad plays with the Wild next year.

It’s a conditional 7th rounder and Pitt will retain half the salary (2 million). As a wild fan, total low risk potential high reward trade. Big fan of this trade for the wild but I get why Pittsburgh did it.
