This was great to see. However, I’m still in the camp that isn’t all out rooting for him to return this year no matter what, must get out there. If there’s any questions about him pushing it too soon, fuck that, imo.
Someone earlier replied to me saying this same thing as “If he doesn’t come back this playoff run he’s never coming back” and I don’t agree with that statement at all. Landy brings more than quality play from his game, the dude is unequivocally the leader of this franchise and if he doesn’t make it back till next year, but he’s back to really being the best 100% he’ll ever be post surgery ^BECAUSE* he waited till next year, I’m still all for that idea. Not talking about salary or anything but that’s just kinda how I feel about it

Obviously if he feels ready to come back for playoffs that’s between him and the team. If I’m being honest I hope he shuts it down all year and really takes his time coming back till next year. I’m just hoping he doesn’t feel like he only has one good push in him.

I have no *realistic* expectation we will see him this year. Hope for the best, YES! but temper that with “Just take your time and get well, Cap.”
That said, it’s SO GOOD to see this. This is significant progress over the last one of these we’ve seen.
