Locked on Wild POSTCAST: Wild Squander Late Lead and fall 3-2 in Overtime against Buffalo

The Minnesota Wild saw their 4 game win streak snapped as they gave up the game tying goal with 40 seconds remaining in regulation and the Sabres scored 1:19 into overtime to steal the win. The Wild fell behind 1-0 in the third as Casey Mittelstadt scored 40 seconds in to give the Sabres a 1-0 lead. The Wild tied it a few minutes later on Joel Eriksson Ek’s 25th goal of the season to make it 1-1. Declan Chisholm scored his first career NHL goal to give the Wild a 2-1 lead after Jake Middleton drew a 4 minute penalty. But Dylan Cozens is credited with the game tying goal (initially it was credited to Jordan Greenway) and Henri Jokiharju scored the game winner for the Sabres. The Wild will host Vancouver on Monday in their next game.
