  1. I like this trade for both teams. Montreal adresses there center problem with Suzuki, gets a pick and a "replacement" for Patches. I think they have a decent center core to build around now. Vegas gets someone who can replace David Perron. They will probably be just as competitive as last season. Now it wouldn't hurt to get some young defenseman too. I guess Karlsson is out of the talks now?

  2. Dosen't change anything to the fact that Bergevin must be FIRED.

Not a bad trade, would have liked a d-man instead of Tatar but it's still a very even deal.
Vegas did not pay as much as the Bruins did for Nash for exemple so it's a good move for Vegas too.

  3. This may sound obvious, but I think how good Suzuki becomes over the next few years will determine who truly won this trade.

  4. i think vegas gave up on tatar too quickly and thats why I see them losing this trade. I think giving up suzuki was a little steep and how much they paid for tatar was crazy. MOtreal got all the benefits from that.

  5. Trade makes sense for MTL. I don't think Vegas will be as good so that's why I'd say that MTL won the trade. Vegas might be a decent team but being good early in their history will hurt them long term.

Tatar can get 40-50pts and maybe reach 60 if he has good players around him. He scores 20 per year. He's already scored 30 once before. He could get more if he plays on a good team. Struggled with VGK but I still think he's still a solid player.

Suzuki's stats in the OHL suggest that he will be an elite player. If he can manage to get 60pts per season and maybe reach 80 at one point, this trade will be a no doubter.

The 2nd round pick can become a pretty solid player. If they draft a Dman like Mete who's NHL ready, they could become a decent team again.

Max is a decent player. 60-70pts guy, 30 goal scorer. I just don't think that Vegas needs him. I think that most of their players outplayed themselves and will fall back to reality.

  6. This trade was about Suzuki who is a CENTER and scored 100 points in 64 games in the OHL last year. He is a beast on the penalty kill aswell. Tatar will be traded for more assets. Patches signed for 4 years 7 million per with vegas.

  7. Vegas gave up way too much for Tatar.. probably their worst trade so far.. he didn’t do anything for them last season

  8. Its good trade amidst of all the drama surrounding Patch and the Habs. The former cpt has a lost some trade value. If it werent for that, I think they couldve got Glass and mayble Theodore.

  9. Most awkward moment ever

Montreal front office: oh let's have a fun round of…. OH HI MAX!!!!! How are you?…. We weren't trying to trade you I swear!!!

  10. What fucking retards they have up there in Montreal? You trade your two biggest stars? I'd be furious if I was a Habs fan
