As sad as it is, he was the instigator and initiated the hit. Unfortunately Lafanier hit him back first. You know you just came back from the injury. Why didn’t you throw your body out risking more injuries?

Majority of hits in the NHL are intent to injure. No respect anymore. It seems like every week we have a suspension for illegal hits. I LOVE the reverse hits. Clearly he tried to put him through the boards again and it backfired. Sometimes karma bites you in the rear sooner then other times

I broke my right leg exactly the same way. Tibia, fibula both spiral fracture and i was off rhe ice for 6 months and 6 days. I heard the bone break, sounded like a broom handle snappingso sorry to see this, RangeR fan but i cant imagine how dejected he must be. I hope it heals straight

Imagine this happening in your beer league? Serg will be fine he’s rich and doesn’t halfto go to work on Monday like the other 99% of others just to make his own ends meet…bad luck is the guy who gets injured playing for fun and than can’t support his family because of it.
