1989 – Birmingham Superprix – Mike Smith BTCC accident
This is onboard footage from James Weaver’s Prodrive BMW M3 showing radio DJ, Mike Smith’s accident in the first lap during the BTCC race at the Birmingham Superprix.
I remember watching this clown as a kid. Even as a child i new he didn't have what it took for the BTCC. A bit like Andy Neate in the current BTCC, too much money, too little talent.

lol… Mike Smith, touring car racing's biggest ever joke. He blamed the car on the left for that accident, but they didn't even touch!
Mike Smith, did he not crash his helicopter also, with Sarah Green onboard, is this the same accident prone Mike Smith?
