The Canucks/Jets game was a battle, they kicked the crap out of each other. Scheiffle and Pionk each had funny dives but the Canucks wasted a ton of PP time.
Wings got the best of the Flames yesterday 5-0 in a scrappy one incase anyone was wondering.. no? Oh okay sorry guys.
A lot of teams in that Western wild card race could use an injection of consistent scoring and experience. I know he's a "keep the band together" kind of guy, but I wonder if Crosby would consider going to the Wild or Kraken or such for a better shot at one more cup. Penguins pretty clearly aren't gonna get there, at least not this season, while those two in particular seem to be in the upward part of their arcs.

the refs are an absolute joke man it’s getting out of hand. calling some of the softest calls i’ve ever seen. players are becoming soccer players diving all over the place. vancouver fan here and saw the shit calls the refs called on canucks last night during winnipeg that costed us to get scored on twice. hockey is turning into soccer and it’s sad to see. i’m all for cracking down on cheap calls and making sure it’s safe out there, but at the same time it really is messing with the games itself. i’m sure im not the only one feeling this way..

The NHL's losing market share to the other major leagues. Smaller organizations like NASCAR and the UFC are surpassing them in TV/network deals.
That's a fact.
This season is yet another new high in showing how poorly officiated/ran the league is. The game is evolving but officiating is back in the 1900s. I find it is insane that teams have to challenge to get a proper call, instead of the league hiring 'tech refs' who are on replays instantly to catch their own mistakes. The game is too fast and skilled for on ice refs but the nhl rather them take the heat for 'managing games' and saving $$ while doing it.
Why do you never talk about the Sabres. They did win 7-0 against the kings and there was a really fun to watch game vs the wilds
