I'm good with forsy being a backup as long as he can stay healthy. Korpo has been a huge disappointment this season. I think we should be looking at hanafin to beef up the d core and give korpo one more shot

Forsberg could be the Filip Gustavsson for another NHL team. And MacKenzie Blackwood was an incredible free agent signing. Sens only wish they had Blackwood.
Conner Hellybuck is a good example. Though many hate on John Gibson, but think he is good value if the defense wasnt complete garbage in front of him.
Forsberg should have played yesterday, not korpi. There's no way anyone is taking korpi deal it would cost the sense so much to get rid of him. Timmy needs to take a few games off to do a reset
Having Soogard and Koorpisalo as a tandem next year is a shitty idea and Forsy is vetter then Soogard
Buying out Forsberg does not seem like the answer; keeping Korpisalo will relegate the SENS to the bottom of the league. Why didn't Columbus try to keep him ? Sogaard is not ready; will he ever be ? But Belleville has 3 guys down there, so besides Mads one of the other two ? Our team needs some changes, but not another rebuild. Get a Craig Anderson and watch what happens.
IF this new Ownership group has ANY interest in a winning record and ompeting next year, it is imperative they move all 3 out. It's fascinating to me since the Coaching change, when the Sens WIN it's because of Jacques "systems/structure" BUT when the Team looses, it's the goaltending. I'm NOT a fan of DJ but he wasn't afforded the same luxury.

Korpisalo is a goalie who made a career on high athletic desperation saves.
His fundamentals are atrocious and the reason a lot of other franchises chose NOT to give him an extension…

What about Samsonov as a cheap option for a backup/starter if he performs.Toronto is moving on from him.He was going to be one of the best goalies in the league,they screwed up his development a bit,before he came to Toronto.
Why they didn't close Andys career out to shepherd the kids I'll never know. He had two years left to give Buffalo. Instead they went for Matt let in that Watermelon Murray! Ack!
