Gotta love how a certain side of the political spectrum is pro-choice only on things that benefit them….
In this they claim that ppl should be free to make their own decisions as it comes to their live/situations…

This report is generating a lot of opinions š let me throw my two cents in:
Sounds like Lehner is doing a hockey version of North Dallas Forty, a book (then a movie) about the way NFL teams treat their players (dugs, injections, overall callousness). He should write a book instead of tweeting though. If I am the Knight management, I would worry that Lehnerās head is in Buffalo instead of focusing on his new role as #1 goaltender for a Cup contending team.
Eichel signed a long term contract that compensates him for his services to the hockey team. That contract, like all the others, is regulated by the CBA. He should move forward with the fusion surgery as this is the medical consensus. Maybe he wants to try a new procedure, but when he signed his contract he agreed that the team would ultimately have to approve medical care. He is no exception and teams make these decisions on a frequent basis.
The solution: 1.The league (and NHLPA) should let the Sabres suspend the contract for this season (stop the clock). Retain the right but let the situation resolved before the contract resumes.
2. NHL & NHLPA, should create a panel of outside medical experts, picked by them, no input from Sabres or Eichel, to review the file and make a recommendation. Consider it mediation and make it binding on both parties.
Since these ideas are outside the CBA, I doubt they can be carried out but it seems like common sense.
Sad for the Buffalo fans, they deserve better.

Sabres Sabres team doctors and surgeons also work with Buffalo Bills, the doctor who wants Jack to get his replacement said he wouldnāt give it to NFL players, why use Jack as Guinea pig?
If Jack gets the surgery and still can't play are the Sabres able to collect insurance on his contract?

Robin Lehner is on an absolute WARPATH! I am 100% in support of him digging up the truth and causing chaos. The league is a little too comfortable in it's corruption, and people are sick of it. I'm not sure how much power the NHLPA still actually wields anymore, or if they just forgot that they can flex on the NHL. Either way,it seems less effective than in years past. Robin Lehner should be part of the NHLPA leadership, because things would actually get done.
Robin needs to watch his own back before the target becomes his. Yikes. The old saying that you can't fight city hall is right. Betman will be on the phone after watching this trying to shut him up. Robin is in a good place now. I would hate to see his fingers mess that up.

The player can have their own medical choice when they sign a contract with a team making that AGREEMENT. Pretty simple, huh?

I think the NHL is so far behind not only the other leagues as far as discrimination and racism that its own super stars are still coming out and saying Fix this BS its enough and the NHL turns a blind eye. why is it that we can't have Woman NHL referee's or why is it okay that a player like Evander kane can basically get away with anything and the NHL washes their hands of it, why is it that the hawks scandal is just ignored and the eichel thing is absolutely just ridiculous that this guy has not been dealt with and this problem has not been fixed… I know other leagues has some major issues but The NHL is getting to the point that its starting to look really bad and for a player to call them out is absolutely ridiculous..

Looks like Vegas traded the wrong goalie. The fans must be even more furious. I for one am happy that Fleury is on the Hawks. He seems to be a most agreeable gentleman. Thereās an old saying that goes never bite the hand that feeds you. Lehner seems to be his own worst enemy. Just my opinion of course. I donāt even know the guy.
