Ovechkins resurgence is a little too late unfortunately. Glad to see him find his game tho
I agree that Caps have better players in Hershey than Philips and I think Sgarbossa would work with Ovi bc he is a pass first player

Somebody better wake up, ovi is all but done but no one sees it, and his defense is awful.
We all know who will score against the Caps when they face the Pens in March 😂😂🤣🤣. Seriously, good for Phillips. By all accounts he was one of the hardest workers on the team in and outside of practice. As far as putting him on waivers, it was a non-event organization wise.
Ovechkin only has one multi goal game all year and no hat tricks. I think he is close to getting a few. If so he will jump to 20 goals on his way to 30 i No time. If he gets 30 this season then the second half of the season will be quite a triumph. Especially if the caps are realistically fighting for a playoff spot with five games left in the season. The caps need a winning streak or several 7 out of 8 games won. Lot of season left. Definitely doable, but they need to win again and again.
