Watching the Islanders trying to clear the puck out of their own zone during the last 5 minutes of the 3rd period was like watching a beer league team playing with hockey sticks made of sponge. Every attempt to clear was Weak!

As a long time Ranger's fan I'm obviously happy with a BIG come from behind win. However, there are still "chinks in the armor". The Rangers cannot expect to go deep in the playoffs and constantly play from behind. IMHO, that's not gonna get it done in the "second season". We've got to play better from the start and not get behind early in games, First period performance is poor. If the Rangers expect to go deep into the playoffs, they've got to improve on their first period mistakes and lack luster play. But as they say a win is a win and I'll take it.
Can someone explain the OT goal for me? The net was like 2 feet from where it was supposed to be before the puck even reached the goal line. I know Ray said it had to do with the shooting action, but it still seems silly to me.
I was just there !!! Section 143. can’t even describe how electric the atmosphere was !!! For an 80,000 seat stadium, there was an attendance of 79,690 fans. I was freaking out but proud of my rangers way to fight!! Gg isles
