Its about the team at this point not the player, I like his speed & work ethic yet the skill set that he brings & lack of a all round game & the overall results of his game don't warrant a roster spot, feel bad for guy yet it is what it is.
Its bad timing imo because of Arizona along with Colorado & Carolina is one of the faster teams. So don't be surprised if speed is a factor in some results. Just saying
I'm absolutely stunned that Brown hasn't been traded a couple months back. I'm also stunned the flack I got whenever I brought it up. Our 4th line needs an complete overhaul/rebuild (bigger, faster). The D needs a peice or two which Tanev may fill. Getting MAF as well would just be a bold, all-in move to bring Stanley home. LET'S GO OILERS !!!
Brown does not warrant a spot on the roster. Zero goals. He tries hard, but just can’t put the puck in the net, he’s had more than enough chances to prove himself.
Corner Brown should move him earlier already . Another player sorry forgot the name is No: 73 he should be replaced by Philip Broberg . Picard should let him plays more games to get ready to plays in the playoffs. We need two solid goalies.😊
I’ve been in Browns corner since he was acquired at the start of the season. I feel he has a good work ethic, good skater, solid checker, good penalty killer , but really snakebite when it comes to scoring. I don’t think time in the press box will do him any good. Players apparently like him as a teammate and I don’t know if he’s trade able. May have to stick it out with him for the rest of the year and start him on a clean slate next season.
Oilers in great posn last yr except Nurse took a stupid penalty that ref didn't need to call – got suspended and had to replace him w a rookie – Broberg… lading to goal against & Vegas won. Holland not making team better w his signings; bet on Yama $3mil, Pulju, … then Campbell $25mil, then Brown $4mil…. still paying Neal $2mil from the CAP… Need has been a few clutch/finishers… Brown is a bottom 6 player and not a finisher…… so really it is on Holland that he kleps gambling vs building based on history of Finishing…. Still don't have 2 reliable Top6 lines – let alone bottom 6..

He was hired as a winger to skate with McDavid and ostensibly score goals and he hasn't fulfilled his end of the bargain. Time to move him out. They need a bottom six forward who can actually finish; more than they need a D man or another goalie.
Everybody is talking about tanev for god sake he is not any better then The defensmen that we alredy have if there is someone how realy think that he gonna do some big differens in the playoffs this People just have to be unbelivebel stupid we have to upgrade the bottom 6 beacuse now they are not scoring 1 single goal they are just totaly useles and ifcwe are gonna go al in we also need 1 more realy good top 6 player and 1 more realy good defensmen not TANEV or WALKER lllooollll
He needs to sit.. nothing is working and he needs to produce, so resting him to watch analyze and think might be the boost he needs. More playing time and rolling him through lines hasn't helped.
Useless to scared to say we made a mistake, I have kept harping on minor useless minor penalties this is another point what purpose does he serve to win a cup you need 4 lines all doing a job not 1 or 2 players just there because of some unknown reason.

Keep Pickard and upgrade Skinner IMO Look for a Klim Kostin type player would be great or puck shooting D man.
