    This is Alcaraz’s favourite surface and he’s out in the semis. I’m wondering if the pressure and hype was too much for this kid? I think dropping a few rankings may take the spotlight off him and the pressure.

    People get all excited because a tennis player lost a match. Even if you are the most talented player it's normal to lose. Look at how much finals fed, djocko, Nadal lost. It happens people. Someone else can always play better.

    Not sure what is going on with Alcaraz, he is way too defensive in long rallies now, always backhand cross, Jarry waiting to strike first. He will have to change quickly into his former self as this will not bring him many titles I'm afraid.

    Alcaraz standing so far back in the baseline, he needs to work on his service return. Got exposed at the Australian open and here again

    Harry is really underrated. I expect him to potentially break top 10 it will be difficult but he has the weapons. Awesome forehand and serve and moves well for a big guy

    One way to describe Alcaraz's problem would be that he's being over-hyped since his run last year and got to his head.
    Even other players out of the top 20 are coming after him with full of confidence bcoz Alcaraz's game has been exposed. Also, Carlos needs to change his tactics for each opponent he faces rather than going on the court with no clear vision or focus and trying to hit winners every time. His unforced errors are unacceptable for a player with his calibre. After he breaks a serve, he gives it right back. Too many missed opportunities that he failed to take cost him all the matches and therefore deserves to lose. Dragging on too many long rallies and not playing smart tennis. Where are those crazy drop shots and ridiculous angles that he used to hit that destroy all his opponents?
    Another glaring problem has to be the coaching. Although Ferraro has done a good job in the past to bring Carlos in the top ten and got him to #1 last year, I think its time Carlos needs to make a coaching change. There comes a time when you have to break out of the shell in order to soar even higher. Judging from JC Ferraro's demeanor, he's just not that guy. Carlos needs a tougher mental coach to train him to become tougher in those difficult moments during a match when he has hit a wall. Tennis is a very mental game. That's why Djokovic has been at the top for so long until now. Aka, the mental giant. Something all these young gen guys are lacking. Lately, Sinner has really stepped up, lets see if he can stay at the top also. Hopefully, he won't follow Alcaraz's path and can take the top spot away from Djokovic. IF Carlos doesn't figure out quickly what's goin on in his head or add another trainer coach to help him overcome his problems, he is going to be out of the top 10 real soon. At the moment, he's just too over-rated and the fans are getting really annoyed and disappointed with his lack of focus and self belief.
