James Reimer gave Alex Lyon a well deserved rest, and did he ever prove up to the task. Reimer made saves on all 38 shots against, earning his second shutout of the season. And the defense did a stellar job of preventing high danger chances against him as well. On the front end, Lalonde shook up the forward lines drastically, and after an awkward first half of the first, it began to click as they ran to a 5-0 victory. Looking forward to attending the Red Wing vs. Kraken game Monday afternoon at Climate Pledge.
In their short history, the Kraken have been a pain for Detroit. Seattle is 4-0-1 against the Wings.
Like the first two games I attended between the two teams, there will be a large amount of red worn in the crowd tomorrow.
Too bad Chris Osgood isn’t on the road in the broadcast booth. He could talk talk about his early days being a goalie for the Seattle Thunderbirds.

I found out the guy who threw the octopus in Calgary was thrown out of the game and given a $250 ticket. Some wanted to pay it for him or help fund the payment. He said he went to the casino after being thrown out and won $2,000. He is asking for anyone who would have helped to donate to the Jamie Daniels Foundation instead. Agree that Lalonde and his staff rewarded hustle with more ice time. Only player who is not held accountable for turn overs is Seider. Love his physical play but he is over used most nights.
