Auston Matthews scored his 49th goal of the season and added a helper and Mitch Marner pitched in with three assists as the Toronto Maple Leafs won their fourth straight defeating the St. Louis Blues 4-2.
Slap shot on an empty net was the best thing to happen to Canada's National Embarrassment! Every team with an opportunity for an empty net slap shot vs. the Leafs should do one; the Leafs have only become better since then!
St. Louis have Vancouver's number; the Canucks can't seem to figure out this Blues team. Meanwhile, the Leafs have beaten them twice in a matter of days.
