Not the response I was looking for as a lightning fan after that 9-2 beating. Honestly, my biggest concern is they change back to their much-worse home jerseys out of superstition

As a lightning fan, the time has come. The contending window has finally closed. The run lasted almost a decade going back to 2015. I still think if JBB and his staff play their cards right the bolts can get back to contention with point,kuch,hagel and vasy(if he regains his form) but they need a roster re-tool badly maybe even a new voice. Regardless im happy with their success over the last decade, something i will never forget for sure

That game was a lot more stressful than it needed to be for my canes. Coming off travel from a road trip out west, the fact they dominated the first 35 minutes allowed them to back off a bit, but we also got away from our game and got a bit sloppy. Can’t do that against any team, especially this Thursday against the Panthers. Credit to Chicago though for feeding off Foligno’s goal and putting up a fight.
