[Travis Yost] Trevor Zegras is a fascinating trade piece: high-end offensive skill, young with an outstanding contract, slowed scoring with defensive concerns. Is Anaheim foolish to consider this, or are they staying ahead of market sentiment?

Someone said this before: Anaheim will never trade its most marketable player perhaps ever drafted. It keeps us stay relevant in the NHL for sponsors and advertisers. His flash is worth more than his “slowed scoring”

Article posted by someone who doesn’t watch the Ducks written by someone who also doesn’t watch the Ducks.

    Makes sense.

This is a stats guy putting weight into a 20 game sample size when we have 130 previous games of good performance…I think you just write this one off, this year started off badly the second he held out

Ah yes let’s trade away a player that can put up points from a team desperate to score. We literally traded defenseman for a forward to add more scoring. Makes sense. Unless Verbeek can find a trade for a similar aged forward it doesn’t really make sense to trade Z at his lowest value.

They really are pushing this. It’s not happening

Cronin loves Zegras, i will hate seravelli forever for putting this shit out into the universe.

    Its not happening

“Is Anaheim foolish to consider this?”

Objection, assumes facts not in evidence.
Frank Seravalli having a(nother) fever dream that other people pile on for clicks does not constitute Anaheim considering anything.

I swear these z trade rumors started after the cutter drysdale trade. It’s some weird cope from frank seravalli. Unless someone watt overpays there is ZERO reason to even consider this, especially when all the offers are hot garb.

The media desperately wants to see Zegras traded so they can say, “See we got something right.”

If they trade him, PVB and Cronin should go. These rumours keep popping up, PVB should just shut them down tbh

This absolute lazy reporting by Travis Yost based on rumors that were likely fabricated by another dogshit reporter.

Some people think the Ducks are unhappy with Trevor Zegras are willing to trade him away for mediocrity. Wishful thinking. The Ducks love Zegras as well as the fans and the media. Zegras certainly isn’t untouchable but if you want to offer your “proposal”, start with a 1st round pick or an offensive 1st round prospect and then add some nice sweetners. Those who think that Zegras could be had for some third fourth line never beens and never will bes or some single digit goal scoring grinders or some old guys who have “leadership skills” as well as old hips and bad contracts are delusional.

All the zegras trades have been awful

“Montreal gets zegras and gives up their #7 prospect in the system, some 4th line plug, and a 3rd”

“Ducks get younger plus more draft capital and montreal gets a top line player to play with caufield”

    Complete garbage man
