  1. Love the content y’all! Just got our first bird down in KY and we’re pumped! Can’t beat wild turkey meat!

  2. I can only handle Mark Kenyon when he's given a short time frame to speak. But no skin? Soon to be video on plucking and prepping a full bird I hope?

  3. I wouldn’t waste that much of a turkey I pluck it and do it all just like Thanksgiving too much good stuff to leave behind

  4. I always pluck my turkeys while enjoying an ice cold beverage. The skin is delicious and the bones make great stock. It very easy to pluck a turkey.

  5. Really appreciate all the Turkey vids. Turkey opens on the 24th for me. Cant wait for my first bird!

  6. my buddy just skins the whole thing in one go, then butchers. If done right pulling the skin off will pull the guts out at the same time.

  7. What do you do with the turkey thighs? There’s so many tendons in them it’s hard to do much with. I usually brine and smoke them and then pick the meat out, it’s usually dry and kinda like a soft jerky, but would love to know if there’s better methods.

  8. Thanks for sharing this Mark. I have traditionally plucked birds but just last night I shot a turkey right before sundown and decided to try this as a quicker method to get the bird out of the field. Works great. It's nice to have options!

  9. thanks for sharing this brilliant and speedy alternative to plucking! For those worried about too much waste, I boil the innards and mash up with rice for feeding my dogs, and peel off remainder of skin and boil the carcass to make chicken broth for soups.

  10. How do you remove the hair off of your game meats, whenever I clean squirrels I always have a little bit of hair left over, I've tried every trick in the book from trying to burn it off to handpicking each little hair off. I have had no luck though….
