“It’s always fun to have a player who wants to be coached, who’s able to take constructive criticism. You have to be engaged. It all starts with confidence & the relationship you build. When you have that, it’s easy to advance together.” – Coach Marty today on Juraj Slafkovsky

It’s reassuring to read this. Juraj is pretty humble in interviews, this just drives it home. The kid is a sponge and is soaking up all this MSL knowledge-juice.

  3. Does Marty not know that you aren’t allowed to hype up Slaf?? it might put too much pressure on him

I love this total oversaturation of Juraj content, keep bringing it!

Marty’s a little late to the hype train, it already left the station

I like to watch progress of slovak players. I liked Hossa, Gaborík, Chara and others… But man… I can feel the passion in the Habs fanbase. I am not particularly fan of any NHL team as I like to sleep and NHL games are mostly during the night for me. So… yeah… I like your passion. And I can speak french. And I find your french funny. It is kinda invert to when french people try to speak English. Your french has American accent 😀 Anyway… Montreal is starting to be a team that I like for other reasons than just one slovak player.
