The hardest part of the whole project was getting Winamp to work on that Windows 98 tablet.
Man, this was great! It was like watching the cycling Bob Ross! The bike turned out really good too! I wish I had the skills! Thanks for posting!
Wait, did you clear coat over the graphics? Can I clear coat over the old graphics on my bike to preserve them?
What a build! i love it.
I'm going to wager he didn't just find that frame. Especially not with its geometry
I accidentally stumbled upon this video via YouTube's recommendation algorithm, and 20 minutes just flew by. Sadly, I have none of the skills showcased here, but I love the video format, and the end results speak for themselves. Liked and subscribed!
Great job! But, how do you fit on the rear a 700 wheel plus tire on a 26” wheel bike.
Perfect, although I would have added a brace to reinforce the brake mount
You should sell those thru axle adapters.
Man, congratulations! This bike turned out perfect, you were very meticulous with the details and knew how to do everything masterfully.
Wow man! Great and beautiful work!
The freaking urge I have to find an old 90s frame and build my own bike now. Amazing video, keep them coming
Looks awesome. Really good craftsmanship!
what a cool Frame! nice build
great job, like and follow !
Those drills were a crime.
Oh my…. U r a genie of bike!!! Fantastic job u’ve done!!
Perfecta, tengo una Gary Fisher Big Sur y una Tassajara, ahora también quiero una así… soy de Argentina
before watching the video
, I thought it would be another budge "retro to modern" build, but as a mécanique this is gold. The true axles conversions it really the best part.
Beautiful work – you are a real craftsman.
Is that a Montgomery Ward headbadge logo in honor of the department store forks?
How much could cost a full rebuild of this magnitude? You have all the know how also
Damn don't be too harsh , I think the 98% of your views couldn't accomplish that beautiful custom.
very nice video❤
Hey I know you said $1000, but I'd be interested in a cost break down. Great project, love the editing and commentary, inspired me to do something similar now. 👍
Wonderful work! It's gratifying to see more people giving new life to frames and bikes from the 90s.
this was absolutely brilliant
Funny, I worked at the studio that designed all the stuff for GF in the 90s… funny to see all the old graphics on the frames, i forgot all about that stuff. Nice build!
Do all gravel bikes use road bike handle bars.I’m older and being bent over eventually hurts my neck.
Well done – congrats and enjoy
Y love your bike
One awesome build. Looks really cool mate 🙂
Really cool project, you showed many things that some of us can try on our own builds. This video led me to your previous Stumpjumper revamp, made me mad at myself to getting rid of my mango colored Stumpjumper frame that would have been a fun project.
Excellent work master
Holy shit is that an old 4×4 dodge Dakota. I love them shits
Congrats, Amazing job and wonderful place to ride a bike.
I loved this video, great build. I throughly enjoyed your solution for adapting the frame to thru axles.
However, what about those of us who don’t have a CNC machine lathe or a welding rig?
Great video, the algorithm worked today!
Thanks Robert
Great work on such a beautiful bike. Only you will notice the minor mishaps. Thanks for sharing.
another one's trash is another one's project. 😅
