“I’m trying to find ways to get out of that [scoring slump]. Right now I’m trying to focus on being good in my defensive zone, try to push the pace, give more room to my linemates, try to go to the net & maybe score a dirty one when I can” – Josh Anderson today

I like Josh but its getting pretty tough to call it a “slump” when it’s been the whole season minus a 10 game hot streak.

Pour mettre les choses en perspective…

Cette saison, Josh Anderson a une production semblable à celle de Michael McCarron.

McCarron vient de re-signer pour 900 000$ par année.

Feel bad for the guy just looking at his face, but it is what it is. At least it’s a non-issue for the outcome of our season, he can bounce back next year.

He should just never carry the puck ever. I mean ever. He should pass the puck as soon as he gets it or set up for a shot. Dudes gotta simplify.

Why can’t guys, especially highly paid “physical” players, just finish checks. If you don’t have the ability to impact the game on the scorecards, find another way– be a pain in the ass to play against. So frustrating to see him skate 200ft down ice to just peel off his man after blindly forechecking. I’d rather double shift Pezzetta than play Anderson.

I hope Anderson can find a good home like Drouin did.

  7. Anderson is done, he cant keep up with NHL players. Can’t shoot, cant skate, cant stop, cant make plays, cant hit. He’s not “in a slump” this is who he is as a player. He’s getting 16+ minutes a game and does nothing, I’m sorry but we have to lose him some how.

If I was getting paid as much as him, I’d try a lot harder. A slump shouldn’t last all year. I hope he gets his groove back

I feel for the guy. His work ethic is really good so it’s hard to blame him for his lack of production. You can see that he tries.

I’d send him down. I’d try Anderson for Farrell. And maybe Armia for AndersEn
