  1. Good game from both ends. However, this ongoing ref problem seems to really be a consistent problem. I guess being a ref has no repercussions on how many miss calls or terrible calls they make. NHL really needs to put the refs on blast. Every game seems to have many issues with the refs.

  2. These last three games terrible puck luck some shady calls. The Canucks haven't even played bad… Hope they get some next game

  3. Cancel the parade 😂, the Canucks are just trying to keep the suspense alive for when they finally win it all! 🏆

  4. Canucks playing like the real canucks – get ready for the steady climb towards the basement.

  5. Threepeat! Com'on, you know it's going to bound to happen but Canucks played pretty well in all three periods. We will see what happens in the March game. Bains did well but he's no Joshua. Now that Hoglander is on the Pettersson line, the fourth line seems a little toothless.

  6. I wouldn't mind seeing these two face off in the finals. What a game! For such few goals, the game was still epic. Props to the video editors. Keep up the good work!

  7. Better help Bains pack his bags so he can get back to Abby asap. Never want to see him with the big club again for a long time

  8. As someone, like many in the lower mainland, who grew up with countless Punjabis friends and acquaintances it's so great to see Bains get a game. I know how proud they all must be feeling and I am too. The whole region should be, frankly. It's great for hockey. Hopefully it's the start of many more games for him. I think he looked quite good out there in his first game!

As for the game, yeah it's disappointing to lose but after the absolute failure of the last game, I think they responded very well. They controlled for many good stretches and played fairly disciplined structure for the majority of the game. The Av's buried their chances and that was the difference. This team has proven to me they know how to "reset" and I seriously doubt this losing streak will last much longer.

  9. I'm more concerned about the Canucks not showing much desperation in the third period… especially with 5 minutes left in the game. There weren't too many quality chances. On to the next one..

  10. 48-year fan. I will be happy to not see them finish at the top, humbling and making them think about how hard they need to work as a team. A bit pissed the Canucks had to mess with the working system by trading Kuzmenko, and now they have started to slide a bit. The lines are now all messed up, and the chemistry is off. Also, they played Demco way too much; they should be getting DeSmith more ice time. The big-paid players need to play like their paychecks, back to the basics with fewer penalties.

  11. Typical Vancouver issues. Taking too many penalties at the worst possible time, poor quality in-close shot attempts, and wasting Powerplays.

  12. MacKinnon is on a different level, always a threat when he is on the ice. On the other hand, I am not sure what Pettersson is doing most of the time, and he just falls too easily.

  13. Canucks fans are the softest in the league. Canucks are in a skid.
Every team goes through it in a season and you guys are already overturning cars again and complains about refs. They missed half a dozen for the Av’s too. Pfft.
    Go Avalanche.
