  1. I’ve been in Cancun checking scores every so often, what is up with these Canucks now?

Way to passive on the PP. Just need to shoot more and get rebounds. The penalties are also killing us.

Obviously special teams have been sinking us the past little while.

Anyone else notice how passive the PP1 group is? There is no urgency, from the entry to the set up no one is playing with speed and makes it way to easy to defend as they are predictable.

I’m pretty positive this will get rectified, team is too talented for this bad of a PP.

Overall was a honestly a really good game. The Canucks kept the top players off the scoresheet although they had their chances. Most of which came on their PP except Mack’s early breakaway. They scored on a couple bounces that went their way but 5 on 5, again, the Canucks did fantastic.

I also thought the reffing was pretty suspect again but what do you do. The penalty at the end of the game should be a fine for embellishment.

Miller’s was a beast the past two games, his line looked good. Peteys line with Hogs and Lindy is looking better every game, feels like something good is brewing there. Bains didn’t look out of place, although we’re definitely missing Joshua. Demko seems to be stepping up despite the 2 losses.
January and February had some tough scheduling with long road trips against some tough opponents…..looking forward to more tough matchups in March but a long homestead coming up, will be a great stretch leading up to the playoffs!

  5. These past few games show that the bounces don’t always go our way. Adversity is good.

Nothing that is happening now should be any surprise to anyone. We’re a good team that has gotten some really great luck this year — and it’s our turn to have some bad fortune and to lose the “close ones”. Out bottom 6 was not going to score at a 20%+ clip all season. We have to bail out our goalie sometimes. It’s all part of us getting better.

Getting really tired of people looking for scapegoats. Nobody gave a shit about Mik not scoring since December until this week — now he’s suddenly the Thing Holding Us Back. Next week it will be something else. Stop it. There is no single reason for our results.

A good team gets better through adversity. This will help up improve and be a better team in the long run. We’re losing as a collection of players and these are the players that will help us figure out how to win.

i think they played extremely well especially considering their on the back end of their b2b against a top contender. Absolutely love how Miller is playing, and Bains did an amazing job last night. Looking forward to a W in Seattle

  7. Lindholm hasn’t exactly been obvious out there which is definitely disapointing. Having said that, he does win faceoffs.

I only watched about 3 minutes of the game but Bains had a good scoring chance and was noticeable in the offensive zone…

    Bains for Calder.

PP has scored 3/27 since coming back from All Star break and allowed 3 SHG so they’ve basically contributed to nothing.

In the same time frame the PK is 72% and it includes the collapse in the Wild game, so they’ve actually been decent before that game (79%) and were good again vs Coloardo. But again overall on the season the PK is under 80% and they’re 21st in the league so we need Soucy and Joshua back ASAP.
