The Canucks have surprised many this season with their rise to the top of the standings and their consistency in finding ways to win, but Mike Rupp still doesn’t think it will translate to success in the Stanley Cup Playoffs.

The Timberwolves of the nhl
A little late to be asking this question. Of course they're for real, at least for this season.
They check all the boxes, 'cept one…'The Grind'.😅
Everyone should know by now that Rupp loves his eastern teams. He has never given Canucks any props this season
Ability to go deep in the playoffs is an entirely different question than "are they for real" which is a question people ask about teams regarding their regular season performance.
bro they literally were in the playoffs semi recently. also so many players on the roster have plenty of playoffs experience
I asked the same thing about Rupp. Over 600 games as a center in the NHL with only 54 goals and 45 assists. Was that career for real? That's an average of 13 points per 82 game season. I'll bet the Canucks are contenders with a few more guys producing like that.
yea man let's ask some random baldy that's never won anything in his career this question
They've taken the next step this season into good team, from mediocre previously.
They can probably win a few rounds but not a betting favorite given lack of playoff experience.
Still they've been a top the standings all season and in 1st for some time. They're a good team.
I don’t really disagree, as a Canucks fan I think they need some playoff experience also. But I think they will win there first round .
