All solid takes. I'd take any of them. Only worried about what we would have to give up. Definitely a seller's market this year. I wish to see a reunion for Tarasenko or Duclair. Most realistic is trade is probably Tarasenko at 50% retention for a second and a prospect. Owner has said he wants to keep a 1st round pick this year.
Ye no we're likely gonna ask for something that's not gonna make us look worse on paper. I'd be blown away if a pick was coming back as the main piece for senko.

Like Duke if he comes cheap, wouldn’t mind Tarsenko thought he played well for us and GG underused him against NJ. Eberle post playoff numbers. But I think our focus for the playoffs should be on LD, if we are going to give up major assests it should be for a young LD. Lindgren is constantly banged up( God love him) and MIller is shaky. Maybe one of the Calgary DMen.

Eberle would be my preferred. He drives play at 5v5 the most out of any of the suggested targets. Would fit in sooo well with Mika & Kreids

I like AD but he is soft and not tough enough to grind in the playoffs. Tank would be good and retaining half of his salary means retaining half of what he is owed withe the games remaining is the season. Eberle is a solid rental and would be my choice. I'd pass on AD.

3:26 Tarasenko cannot be acquired by the Rangers in a retained salary transaction as he was on their roster in the past calendar year. This is outlined in CBA article 50.5(e)(iii)(C)(4)
I got a better idea. Go for 22 year old Arthur Kaliyev of LA. Excellent 5v5 metrics and only 22, can become part of the new core. I think Lafreniere is the answer for the 1st line, by the way. He is an elite play-driver and has chemistry with Mika. Then I'd get Novak from Nashville, can become the future Chytil replacement and is only 26. I'd also pick up Alexandre Carrier from Nashville as well, playing like a top 4 defenseman and should replace Gustafsson, who has been abysmal defensively for a while now. If you're REALLY lucky, you can pick up Yakov Trenin from Nashville as well, who is an EXCELLENT, high octane defensive 4th liner, a huge upgrade from Goodrow if you can dump him.

Hope they can get some depth like Henrique. What i was hoping, there was a possible opening working something out w Edmonton that woud help both teams for the playoffs. Have a conversation about any combination of Mika, K Miller, Lindrgen (if hes healthy) and Goodrow. Not saying move all of them of course but both rosters can use a dynamic change. Spitball and see what is offered. Talking money, these guys are getting moved soon to begin w, if the deal isn't there dont pull the trigger and focus on depth and please another D man

Duclair could be a solid pickup but I'm not sure if he would be good enough to be on the top line. He would be an upgrade for sure though and he was on that Panthers run last year.
