The Rielly suspension is one of those things that is fine if you look at it by itself. If you look at it in the context of other suspensions given out by the league it is a joke. Does anyone believe that the suspension wouldn't have been shorted to time served if Bettman's buddy Jacobs' team was who the offender played for? Of course parros wouldn't have given that many games to one of Jacobs' golden boys for so minor a thing. Greig should have been told he fucked around and found out. Don't want to find out again, don't fuck around again.
Coyotes lost ten straight. This is so much a game the Leafs lose.
When Rielly is out the usual suspects take their defensive responsibilities more seriously. It is unfortunate the the Leafs don't have a coach who understands how important defensive play is to winning games and holds players accountable when they don't fulfill their defensive responsibilities.
This team should still be a seller not a buyer. Maybe they really show up against the Avs and the Golden Knights but right now, they aren''t going anywhere, sell what they can and try again next year.

I normally would be only complementary with regards the opinions, coverage and integrity of this show.
However I feel like every single Sportsnet employee is just a propaganda mouthpiece for Gary Betteman and the NHL. It’s so obvious, and it hurts the network and it’s employee’s credibility. Get real, Gary Betteman may be a tin pot dictator but all the more reason to expose his inconsistencies and rampant hypocrisy. Shame
