On this week’s episode of The Senstennial Podcast, we discuss Ottawa’s goaltending issues, and whether the Sens should consider buying out Joonas Korpisalo this summer, or hope that he can turn things around for next season. We also discuss what happens with Anton Forsberg once his contract expires, and who might be some realistic goaltending targets that the Sens pursue in either 2024 or 2025. We compare the current iteration of the Senators with teams who had similar issues, and debate the shifting of Ottawa’s playoff “window.” Finally, we take a look at some of the issues regarding the play of Josh Norris, Drake Batherson, and Brady Tkachuk, and what we expect to see from them going forward.

Goaltending is hard to find. I do expect the Sens to be even worse next year as other teams will improve.
3:11 also, the future is not good to in Ottawa. Nothing to look forward to. Only think is new ownership undoing what the old one did.
