Cam with a huge game. Could easily have had a tied game with the number of breakaway and semi-breakaway chances the Kings gave to Cbus. Need to clean things up.

Minus that back to back penalty situation I’d say the kings dominated that 3rd period. Besides it was all over for CBJ after that QB goal anyways… Great win at home

OH….I’m afraid that Byfield will be fully operational.
This was a statement game.
I just want all of the PLD haters that were unhinged on this sub and fought me tooth and nail to tell me how bad he is to reflect. Myself and others have been saying for months that the quality of his linemates was holding him back and since he’s had Byfield or Kempe on his wing, he’s been infinitely more effective (I know, who would have thought?). It was so clear to me based on his play style that he needs a dynamic top playmaker on his wing to be effective and Laffy, Kaliyev, Grundstrom and JAD just aren’t that. I even think that if he was given more time with Fiala, that line would have worked eventually as well. I don’t normally like to gloat but damn it feels good to be right about this one. PLD has just been so damn good since the coaching change and Byfield/Kempe are the biggest reasons why.
We have Quinton Byfield on our team. Whew, what a game from Q. Dude is unreal.
Cautiously optimistic about PL as well, he’s been quite good since the break. Nice stretch here for the PL truthers out there lol. Happy for Cam as well, nice couple of bounce back games from him.
Don’t feel too great about Arvy, unfortunately. He looked pretty distressed to me, but I could be overthinking that one. Hope he’s okay.

Englund needs to start throwing the body some more, Clarke and Turcotte were getting ragdolled some shifts and CBJ didn’t have to answer to anybody.

Byfield is such a POWERHOUSE lately, I loved the guy the moment I started watching him, I hope to get a byfield jersey someday
Cautiously optimistic. The good thoughts have been covered so I’ll play the stinker role:
— wonder what’s going to happen to Spence? He was playing well but clearly Clarke needs to stay; with Roy expiring EOY, Rob may look to make a big trade (+ Kaliyev and pick?) and upgrade at goalie…it’s tricky bc Roy is playing great too so 🤷♂️
— where’s our four line production? Line 1 is treading water, Moore needs to get going again, line 4 is playing like line 4 so no hate – but if our advantage was supposed to be depth, we’ll need them all to get going before the playoffs. Noticing JAD sat last night, I wonder if we’re juicing Kaliyevs trade value then bringing up Fagemo?
— it’s nice to see PL actually producing for many reasons, one of which is I can actually be excited for Gabe crushing it in a way I do NOT think he would have been able to here on line 3; he clearly never wanted to leave so I’m not going to blame him, at least until we see WPG in the playoffs
