Ryan Suter tripping on Zach Hyman – Have your say!
Ryan Suter complained about this tripping penalty after taking down Zach Hyman. Suter claimed he was going for the puck. I see something…different. What do you see? Have your say!
I love how the players try to excuse their behavior on ice. Cup check? "That was a stick check gone wrong accidentally!" Shoulder to the head while leaving your feet? "Keep your head up! What else could I have done???" Obvious leg sweep to trip a player? "I was going for the puck!" Considering these are "the best of the best" players in the world, I can't imagine what the ECHL or what have you looks like. These players seemingly have no control or skill.
That's tripping, not a slew foot. Suter's upper body does't contact Hyman projecting him down. If you don't know the difference, let a friend do both to you and you'll feel the difference.

Dangerous play… why would he argue this ??
This is not a slew foot as there is no use of the upper body. A fine for a dangerous trip.

Slewfoot, two games. Done

It's not tripping. That is a SLEW FOOT!
Automatic match penalty.
Put big red noses on refs and call them clowns.
Pretty obvious… No basis for controversy at all. A trip doesn't have to be deliberate for a penalty to be called.
Obviously a slew foot. Nuthin to see here. Fine him or a game and move on.
Easy. Penalty and penalty.
Definitely a trip should be a game misconduct for taking out his knee you can do serious damage to the knee. Clearly intentional.
