If he develops anywhere near what his potential appears to be, how huge this pick is for the Avs CANNOT be understated. A cost-controlled legit eventual 2C is literally exactly what this team needs.
excited, but nervous for the kid…Avs FO/bednar don’t have a great track record of developing young forwards, they just have no patience for them sadly (and fairly too, we are in win now mode), they get bounced around the 3rd and 4th lines expecting them to do things and be types of player that they aren’t use to and you have to be willing to deal with growing pains of young players
