What’s hilarious is that the media for the Devils is pretty tame. There’s media in other markets/sports that would absolutely tear them apart if they were performing like this.

If you actually listened to the presser he also cited players decision making as the main reason for the pp struggles. Multiple times. Then yeah, after being asked a third time about it he mentioned how reporters constantly asking the players about it probably creates more added pressure. Which isnt entirely wrong, is it? And that’s what players coaches do. They think of things from a player’s perspective. How is anyone surprised by this?
And then even after saying that the very next question was how can they create more high danger chances on the pp and he specifically called out Luke for a play when he had a high danger opportunity to shoot and instead passed it to Jack who was in a low danger area on the ice.
Why not share that quote from Lindy? The one where he’s saying the exact thing fans are, which is that Luke needs to be better as a pp qb.
