Benchmade Hidden Canyon Hunter field test.

Here is the first field test of my Benchmade Hidden Canyon Hunter. I like the shortness of the blade for “interior” work. I usually extend my index finger to the point of the blade to avoid piercing the stomach etc. The jimping on the front of the blade is perfectly placed for that technique. And, as always, razor sharp out of the box.

  1. Can you give me more info on the winch setup you have on the back of your truck. Is that just comming off the Tow bar ? Cheers.

  2. What a tiny deer lol. How does that knife work for cutting out back straps? I'm tired of the cheap ass Wal-Mart knives and I'm looking for a good quality deer knife. Any suggestions?

  3. finally a vid showing this knife doing what it's made for!! lol great vid man . I'm looking at getting one of these.do you find the blade a little on the short side?or is it more just a minimalistic length?

  4. I just bought my Hidden Canyon two days ago. Have yet to put it into action but watching this video was satisfying enough. I plan on carrying mine though for an EDC. Fits great with my 511 contractor belt.

  5. Dude you should give this knife to someone who will actually use it. Go buy you a 10 dollar hook haha

  6. would have been cool to see you process the whole deer with that knife to give us more feed back on how the edge holds up and what not

  7. Did this review get cut short?? Dude like Halfway gutted it and didnā€™t even give a review on the knife. Two thumbs down horrible review
