If Jacques and AlFredo are so wonderful how does Methot explain the Sens sitting 27th for most GA/Gm? Afterall, the dynamic duo have now coached more games than the "disasterous" DJ. With AlFredo looking after the PP, hiw could they possible be the 8 worst in the League! And who is Coaching the PK…the Sens have the 5th worst record killing penalties? The Sens have everyone back and healthy, so why are they still sitting 9th for most goals scored; the same position when DJ was here? AND with so much focus on defending, shouldn't the Team be better than sitting right in the middle of the League in shots allowed? With some of their Best Players Back and healthy, this Team can be very good but it's the players, NOT the people behind the bench, that's making it happen. Moreover, the goaltending has been better. All three that played this year had Sv% less than .890 and Sogaard sported .850. In 4 of the last 5 games Forsberg's Sv% was around the .939 mark (.933 last night). It's much too convenient to attribute the Team's good play to Staios plucking bodies from the Ivory Towers, but when you break it down, it doesn't hold water and Alfredo's brilliance on the Special Teams, must be lost in translation. I'm sure they'll find another award to give for that too.
