I watched so much of Thomas Milic last season it was crazy! Like a ton of us did, I first saw Milic strap up the pads for team Canada and steal the starting spot from a brutal Benjamin Gaudreau and had one of the best World Juniors performances in recent memory for a goalie! After that I watched him a ton with the Seattle Thunderbirds because I was primarily watching Brad Lambert! I got to meet Lambert for the first time at the first ever Winnipeg ICE vs Seattle Thunderbirds game at the Wayne Fleming Arena on January 11th, 2023. The only pictures of players that I took were Brad Lambert (and I) and Thomas Milic! After that the next time I saw both of them play in person was in the WHL finals at the Canada Life Centre where I was hoping they would be absolutely terrible versus my beloved Winnipeg ICE, but unfortunately for me Milic and Lambert were too much to handle for the ICE. Milic was absolutely unbelievable in net for them that whole series and ultimately they beat the ICE in 5 games. After that it was 2 weeks before the draft and I made a mock draft of who I think the Jets could pick and I guessed Thomas Milic and Connor Levis right! Once the second day of the draft came around, I was unfortunately working, but I had the draft playing on my phone and whenever it was Winnipeg’s turn to pick at 146, it jumped to a commercial, and we missed the Jacob Julien pick and I wasn’t too sure who he was, but then our next pick at 151 came around and I saw T. MILIC on the board I was ecstatic!! Even though I had high expectations for Milic, he exceeded them with flying colours! Milic will be a good one for the Jets sooner than later!

just so awesome to hear about dropping ticket sales yet again. we need to start getting into these seats. since bettman would rather save the sinking coyotes franchise its up to the fans now.
