FYI: After AUSTON MATTHEWS kicked off the season with back to back hat tricks, he then had a span of 7 games with just 1 goal. And soon after he had another span of 9 GAMES with just 1 goal!!
That is pretty unbelievable considering his Goal Per Game pace so far.
What I also realized was that if you were to remove those two slumps from his season at this time, it would give him exactly 50 GOALS in 39 GAMES !! 😮
