Valenti talking hockey is painful. Like im glad they finally bring up the Wings, but Mike clearly doesnt know or care enough about hockey to have any worthwhile discussion on it. The hockey elite dont call in because theres nothing to say to Mike specifically. They call into Caputo because he actually knows what hes talking about.
I was at that game and the place was eerily silent until we got it together in the 3rd. We're lucky Lyon was on his game cause we looked horrid in the first 2. I'm all on board with the wings but to act like the building was truly electric last night is insane
Baseball has low attendance because it’s boring. Hockey has low attendance because people don’t know the rules. But the rules are simpler than football rules. The problem is ESPN never gave hockey the air time over the decades + even street hockey is more expensive than other sports locally.
