I guess one of Shane’s buddies let it slip after he was drafted by Seattle that before the draft he was secretly hoping Seattle would lotto the first pick and take him (when he was still projected first). I wish I could find the video, but I distinctly remember a reporter mentioning it in an interview.
Anyway…kid ended up where he wanted. I think he’s happy.
