Great video Coach
Zegras could be a good fit if his value to the ducks has dropped low enough. The value should be lower.
Podkolzin has all.the abilities and has sharpened them with the AHL team. I think the management thought he needed to learn a lot of lessons. Vancouver stands to lose 8 free agents this year so he might be in the plans for next year. Will cost more than most clubs want to pay.
Good morning Coach
I hope you are well
Still listening to your show
Enjoying all the time.
I think the main need is a center who can make some offense. I am okay with Trevor 🦓🦓🦓 if the cost isn't too high. Kent Johnson sounds good too. I know a lot of people hate 🦓🦓 🦓, but it would be a massive upgrade to the forward group.
Kent Hughes collecting assets from 2019 draft like Thanos collects Infinity Stones! (Coach will not understand this movie reference)…😃
I dream about MATTHEW KNIES, young winger 21 year old, big dude 6'3 and 220 pound. Leafs need a good defense player, good veterans to win the Cup. Knies its not on the trade bloc…..but if Tor want a warrior , they can paid. David Savard vs MATTHEW KNIES ?? No sens one on one…..but Mtl can built around both.
I don't see kappo kappo worth going after. I think he is a fourth liner at best with his size if he was a fighter then it be with considering but he doesbt be really offer much
Trade for demonstrated talent…Zegras is best choice for talent. I wonder if the HABS pick anyone this year.
Zegras does not have the character it takes to be a Hab on MSL's team. That trade will never happen.
Kent Johnson would be so great. I wish we got him
Zegras would be a definite upgrade at Center. The problem is that they would ask too much, and i would understand that. I would pass on it if the asking price is too high when we are likely getting a top 10 pick and go after Jarome Iginla's son Tij at this years draft.
I don't want anymore cast-offs from other teams! Our team needs sand and grit up front. We can't compete in the playoffs with too many softies on the team. Over the next 2 years, we can use our 2nd, 3rd, and 4th round picks to draft some big, strong, players who can skate and play physical! We have 4 first round picks over the next 2 years. They will provide the skills we need to complement the players we already have. Develop from within the system. It may take a year or two longer to reach the playoffs, but, our team will be able to compete for many years to come.
Considering I grew up in Port Moody, I say Habs should go for Johnson, but I also like Kakko and third Kalyev
Well done coach. Guess time will tell what direction HuGo will go but expect them to think outside the box as they continue to manage their assets appropriately.
The habs are not trading for another goalie Fowler is the future for them ride sam till then the top two guys are the only real options imo I’d rather keep the picks before taking the rest
Good afternoon Coach. Good player proposals. I still catch your show when time allows. I would like to see Montreal trade for a 2020 drafted-centerman, examples: Dawson Mercer-NJ or Dylan Holloway-Edmonton or Hendrix Lapierre, Washington or Anton Lundell, Florida.. Cheers.
