I can’t see Philadelphia trading anyone as they’re in 3rd in their division. They’re buyers at this point, not sellers.
D is best in league, leave it alone. 2nd line needs some size and grit.
Harrison: There is saying that says a bird in the hand is worth two in the bush. My opinion might not be a popular one however, if the Jets can get Konecny, nothing should be off the table. NOTHING. There is no guarantee that ANY of the Jets future prospects will work out. I have seen the Jets system screw up way too much talent. Laine and now Heinola are just 2 of the many examples, and the way they are now screwing up the top line by not putting Ehlers up there is just another comedy of errors. However, by sheer dumb luck via the Dubois trade, they stumbled across one of their best teams to date. If they got Konecny I don't see how Bones can possibly mess this up.
Connor, and Ehlers, are lefty's. Vilardi shoots right and so does Konecny. So it is either going to be Ehlers-Scheifele-Vilardi, and Connor-Monahan-Konecny or… Connor-Scheifele-Vilardi and Ehers-Monahan-Konecny. I guess he could put Konecny with Ehlers as well but still I don't think it will be that hard to figure out. Plus too, If Jets got Konecny bones might feel ok with putting Connor on the second line because pairing him with Konecny isn't exactly an insult. So yes if it takes McGroarty to get Konecny? Get'er done! Everyone thought Laine was going to be the next Ovechkin. How did that work out? The Jets have their best chance to win NOW they need to seize this opportunity any way they can.
Philly has scouted the Jets and Moose in the last few games..
