Hit was clean. Everyone is just super knee jerky any time a guy gets hit in the head. But what happened to continuation? He went through him, didn't seek out his head, yet everyone acting like he did something dirty. You may not like the result but acting like a dude is supposed to crouch a foot to run through a guy head on is crazy, just say no more checking in men's hockey, that its against your sensibilities. Hit was 100% clean, and not a single person has stated anything wrong except the result of the hit, which is truly pathetic from "men".
Haha Avery, guess you missed the kid's end to end rush up the ice. The kid can definitely skate, he may still be a "project" but he's serving a purpose – striking fear in the opposing team. Barring injury you probably won't see him get ice time in the playoff this year, Rangers will add somebody at the trade deadline.

Fighting definitely has a place in hockey but the way it's implemented now is garbage. I'm so sick of somebody receiving a hard legal body check, then immediately they or someone else on their team wants to fight. Fight when somebody runs your goalie. Fight when somebody delivers a dirty hit. Hell fight when you're just challenged for the hell of it. But this absolute nonsense of, you body checked my buddy so now I'm going to fight you, is just absolutely pathetic.
