Season's pretty much over at this point.
I say make it happen
I say do it!!!
I would consider trading Romanov for him straight up. Romanov is expendable we need a guy like Girard bad. The guys we have in the pipe do not play like Girard except maybe Norlinder but I am not sold on him yet as he has not proven anything yet. Looks like Montreal is going to test out Norlinder next game to see how he does in the NHL. Romanov is a keeper but we need a good PP puck mover guy more.
Montreal is in no shape to aquire anyone that's a game changer. With MB not resigned it might not be a good idea to make big changes unless it's in MTL management
Drouin at half salary retention and draft picks that they Avs can flip at the TDL after they traded their picks this Summer
girard for mysak brooks hoffman 3rd rd?
Oui oui oui oui oui oui oui oui oui oui oui oui oui 👍👏 go Habs go Canadiens de Montréal 🤩💙🤍❤️
Edmundson and Petry is our first pairing. Getting Girard to play next to Savard who is a defensive defenseman makes a ton of sense.
Dude Girard wasn’t in the Eichel conversation as a 1 for 1 or something. Nobody is trading an elite player for Girard because Girard isn’t elite. He’s a 2nd pairing offensive D. The equivalent is a top 6 skilled forward.
Keep your grubby hands of G. Haha
I hope the Avs keep him. I know it's probably smart to turn an abundance at one position into getting better at a weakness but G does so much. He gets knocked because he isn't 6'4" but he is sneaky good on D and is a one man breakout machine. He can have off nights but there are times where he drives our blue line and the way the Avs play from the D out
Man just Habs talk all day erry day, why not discuss how insanely embarrasing the season has been rather than rumor mill trades that go nowhere
What a convoluted presentation and waste of my time!
This dude is just fishing for content.
Next video : Adam Fox to Habs?
Habs don’t need to add anybody . They need to shed and rebuild , reset and clean house .
Another Smurf.
Well done for pronouncing the French names correctly…. like mine
Montreal needs to get rid of the politics of backwards minded Quebec, and operate like all the other teams in the league, and get the best of the best, regardless of the language they speak.
Ah well. That would have been nice, but I guess I can see why the Avs wouldn't want to let him go.
All that would do is help Colorado so WHY?
COLO would be able to resign Kadri so MTL would be helping the stanley cup champs.
MTL let Sergacheav go Romanov go that is telling fans they are confident in their prospects so WHY go after Girard especially at 5 million>>>NO.
To even THINK about a future cup the Habs need an elite center not more middle of road over paid guys who just kill cap space but never get the habs to the goal.
