6' 8" 240 vs 6' 1" 218, so kudos to Nick for standing in despite being at a height & weight disadvantage. Terrific tilt regardless, although Deslauriers could've passed on the pants grab to dump Rempe as that's how a guy's head can hit the ice. Dangerous when you're off-balance.
Much respect to Deslauriers here. Rempe is taller, younger (I suspect stronger) and beat his face into ground beef, but they're both great warriors. Nick may have lost (IMHO) but he stood tall, gave Rempe his props, and will fight another day.
Starting to like this guy, he seems old school and we need more of that in the game. Don't get me wrong, I love how the game has grown and changed over the years, but sometimes you just wanna see a good hip check or a brawl like the one he was in

Rempe takes 3 devils out thursday night with head shots . Tortorella to nick Deslauriers , make sure no one gets hurt on our team today . A few punches from nick early and there are no incidents 😂 in today’s game
That kid put a hurten on nick, the kid has to learn to pull the sweater over your opponents head then you whale away, but that kid Rempe is a beast 6'8" 242 lbs of toughness period, GO RANGERS BABY. 10 IN A ROW.
This loss proves how far the Flyers have come in the last few months. They were very much “in the game,” it just wasn’t quite within their grasp this time. Keep chipping away.
You might also wanna describe him as making your face bloody in a way that obviously hurt you a lot (based on your totally ass-whipped expression after (not to mention all the blood coming of from your face) after. Oh, yeah, and he’s tall. Were you really in those shoes before , shrimpy boy ?

What a class act. I'm a Ranger fan saying this. Deslauriers is a good man and a fierce competitor. That was awesome today. Rempe rules!
