I agree Carl! This kid is one of the staples of this team. He’s a proven workhorse and leader in the locker room. Pierce said it himself that he wants JJ back. I think JJ isn’t all about the money and will come back with a team friendly deal. If they can show that they have a solid plan, he’d be stupid not to take it. I get how McDaniels and Ziegler made him second guess his choice last season but with that system I’d want to run away too. We are on the cusp of something great and we all know it. The perfect assessment of Jacob's brother I couldn't have said it better myself. With the weapons we have on offense and a top 10 defensive it wouldn't surprise me if Jacobs leads the league again in rushing🖤💪
I dont want a runningback that chooses which games hes going to play hard in. He doesnt start running hard until week 12. Hes needed in big moments because he takes 3 quarters off.
Did Carl just compare finding QBs late in the draft like RBs 😂 Theirs been very few good QBs found late in the draft but theirs been a shit ton of RBs found late in the draft or even as UDFAs. Point is no need to pay a RB 12-16mil a year when you can get a RB off the street and be productive. Instead of paying Jacobs spend it on the trenches because that’s how champions team are built.
