I know a lot of people hate Vosters but this is pretty interesting and I sorta love having him on. It feels like at least once every game there is something he says that goes over Panger’s head because dude is so old.

He says multiple things every game that go over everyone’s head. This is interesting none the less.

Originally I thought Panger was going to good , turns out I was dead wrong . Now I appreciate Foley so much more . Talon & Foley and Edzo and Foley. Got real spoiled and didn’t realize it till they were gone

This is a cool insight into the process. I like it. And I’m going to say something that will no doubt be dramatically unpopular, but Vosters and Colby Cohen had a great chemistry. Probably because they are within a few years of each other, age-wise. It’s obvious that Panger doesn’t really get Chris’ humor because of the generational gap, which causes a ton of awkward dialogue flops. Chris can learn hockey, but it’s probaly harder for an in-grained dude in his 60’s to learn Gen Z humor and tone.
Colby, and Caley as well, had and have a great back and forth with Chris. Just need some younger blood on the PBP side of things. All due respect to Panger, who I enjoy a lot, but is clearly a bit of a mismatch for Vosters.

He just doesn’t know how to banter. It was evident with Sharp previously, this year with Pang and Chelios both seem to not find his work funny.
He struggles, and it comes off as schmucky overall.
