Morgan Frost was one of Philadelphia’s best forwards in the second half of last season, but since his meeting with John Tortorella after Frost was scratched on January 4th against Columbus, he’s been playing at another level.
Frost has 15 points in 16 games since then and has routinely been one of the most noticeable Flyers in all 3 zones. Bill & JP discuss Frost’s performance against Arizona, in which he scored on a penalty shot, drew multiple power plays, and was overall very good again.

Pissed me off when haters wanted to trade Frost. Frost reminds me so much of 1st year Giroux. He needed top 2 line playing time earlier with quality wings, he was wasted on 3rd/4th lne duty.
Coots' best role is as the 3rd line checking center. He's like an old school Devils' defensive center.
Clearly, Frost isn't a bad center. He isn't yet better than Couturier, however. He had another good game versus the Coyotes, and while he looks more confident, there are still things that Cs like Cates/Poehling do better.
However, definitely respect how Frost handled this season. He is a lot better from the start of the season and should be in the lineup nightly. If he were to be a healthy scratch like at the beginning of the season, those who threw a fit then would have a point now.
Frost is their best playmaker at C. At 24, trading him doesn’t make sense
Frost is coming into his own. Great that the Flyers have been patient and let's hold on to him at the trade deadline….Please!
