This a little unrelated but the issue I have with the Mathews MVP campaign is he has barely any assists

Hart is partly a popularity contest and after the AllStar skills stuff Kuch is going to have to run away with the scoring race to realistically have a chance to win it imo.

The narrative won’t change for Kuch. All of the voters want MacK this year so that’s who they’ll pick.
I obviously think it should be Kuch since he’s leading the charge on what is the weakest Lightning team in many years.

His plus minus is crazy considering he’s at 100 points already. That might hurt his chances a bit.

If we make it to the playoffs it will be because of Kuch and Kuch alone. That makes him easily an MVP

Man, the year Kuch is having this year really puts into perspective how impressive the 2021 cup team really was, and how dominant we might have been had he played the entire year. Pointer was our leading scorer that year with 48 points in 56 games…
