Under balling 👌
Crosby is the face of the franchise. I'd keep him at all cost but get rid of other star players to start tanking.
Sid has said publicly, he would like to finish his career with the Habs. However, Montreal wont be in a position towin a Cup for years. So, I'll he if he's moved, it would be to Colorado; he has close friends(s) there.
Montreal will NOT be in on Crosby…..give your head as shake brother. At this point in his career he's a rental and Montreal is not in the rental game. Sid might as well think about hanging them up along with Malkin and Letang if this team is going to start their rebuild. Bedard's cousin who is putting up Bedard like numbers is draft ready 2026 I believe. So the team needs to decide if they want to sell all their assets and prepare for a bottom feeding year to get best odds at 1st pick in 2026.
It's Kyle Dubas, lol
$19.87 Million AAV isn't too far outside of the realm of possibility.
Cole Caufield, Sidney Crosby, Juraj Slafkovský
It’s almost certainly gonna be 8.7 mil, it’s his superstition.
Sure, make it 10.5. Tie up more cap space. Go ahead Pittsburg.
Crosby Will Take Less than He is Worth as he will think about the team and not just his pocket
can he get a signing bonus?
Sidney will sign for 8.7. He has done that for his career. Don’t get me wrong. He will accept an offer of 10. But most likely the offer will start at 8.7. And he will probably take it. If he didn’t ask for more in his prime. He isn’t going to start now.
Why on Earth would Crosby go to Vancouver? He has no connection to the West Coast whatsoever…. wishful thinking at best. 99.9% sure he's going to retire as a penguin.
What doesn't seem to be understood here is that Dubas won't necessarily be negotiating this deal, more like Fenway Sports Group. They're the ones who (rightfully) care about Sid retiring a Penguin. They're the ones who will tell Dubas what to do there. Just as they did Ron Hextall for Malkin and Letang.
Dubas should trade Sidney for Leon Draisaitl….so Leon can Lead his own Team and also so Sid can play with Connor Mcdavid to end his career. Imagine that. Want to be remembered forever?
He'll play out the remainder of his current contract with Pittsburgh and retire after it expires
Honestly Patterson it's looking more and more like we're not going to re-sign him so Sidney Crosby and Ty Smith for Elias Patterson with whatever left hand defenseman it would make sense because it gives Sydney Crosby a chance to win the Stanley Cup and it gives Patterson a possible chance to sign a bigger contract and it also gives Ty Smith a chance to reclaim himself as a top four pairing defenseman in the NHL or at least a good bottom pairing defenseman with some good offensive skills and is still a developing underrated defenseman who if he gets kept by the Pittsburgh Penguins I doubt he will ever see NHL ever again which is kind of sad considering he shouldn't have been in the AHL in the first place the penguins are looking like the laughing stock of the NHL and it's time for Sidney Crosby to think about himself rather than think about the franchise because its crumbling apart him along with Malkin and Letang are the only things that seem to keep going and they should move on before the franchise destroys a good old chance to win at least one More Stanley Cup
Sids about winning not $$$$$ and if he didn't who could blame him
3×8.7 (12,12,2.1)
I don't know too many Avs fans that honestly thought we would get him in a trade or anything of the sorts. More just rosterbating and fun thoughts of him playing with MacKinnon. I think its obvious that Crosby will most likely remain a Penguin for life
5 x 5.87 is what it'll be, remember this
