So here’s where I’m struggling: Petey, Linus Karlsson and now Lekkerimaki all tore up the SHL in their rookie seasons. Petey of course is now one of the top guys for the Canucks, but Karlsson is in the AHL.
And then I see some talk about Lekkerimaki maybe getting a spot in Abbotsford next year. What’s different about him and Karlsson vs. Petey? They all looked amazing in Sweden, so… am I missing something? Is it that Petey was the more well-rounded talent while the others had obvious gaps in their skill sets? Or something else?
All that being said…what a sick, sick fucking goal. Best Michigan I’ve seen yet.
