I like Protas on the wing more than Protas as a center. Good thing that Strome, McMichael, Sgarbossa, and Lapierre all look like capable centers.
Mantha's trade value is going up with his performance (and by beating up one of the few guys hated more than Marchand and Wilson). The Capitals are on a hot streak right now, and I do expect them to be in the mix for a playoff spot. But they're not a team that can hold its own against teams like the Rangers, Bruins, Panthers, Leafs, Hurricanes, etc. in the playoffs, so they gotta sell guys like Mantha, Pacioretty, and Edmundson.

BROADCASTERS GRADE book – … so lame, tough to grade … call it D- ….. basically MISSED calls on 3 of 9 goals because the COLOR guy was EGO-TRIPPIN' and beakin' off about random b.s. — ie. ON the 5th Caps goal — the COLOR guy was telling us how somebody was a FIELD HOCKEY PLAYER ……… wow ……. good to know. But hey, what about that goal …. Man, these color guys are classic slapstick comedy, their mistakes are SO BAD it makes you laugh in misery.. Not much good except play by play guy did call 6 goals.

Chychrun & Hamonic both played awful last night. 0:34 what a weak attempt by Chychrun to keep the puck in which led to 2 on 1 the other way then they scored then shortly after he flips the puck over the glass like an idiot for a delay of game penalty then they scored. 5:13 Hamonic was in Forsy's line of vision and you can see him move his head to the side right before the Caps shot and it went in then he fanned on a slapshot at 8:31 causing 2 on 1 the other way another goal for Caps. Forsy didn't have a great game but you can't completely blame him for his teammates making dumb plays and taking penalties. I honestly think if they continued playing Forsy starting the 2nd he would of had a better game that 1st intermission he had time to reflect how bad the 1st period was for him and knows he has to be alot better he would have played the rest of the game in that mindset cause we all know with Korpisalo it's just not happening lol
